the daily what do light bulbs and the u.s. postal service have in common? the answer may astound you!, 9-15-20

But before we get to that – we went to the pool! Was it a dreary and cooler day (84°) ? Yes. Yes it was but the cloud shine was just perfect. The water was a tad cool but due mostly to the rain we received from Hurricane Sally. Inclement weather won’t stop us.

Yo, pup! We had a broken light bulb over our oven. The situation was grave but I took a bold stand and replaced it.

Have you ever seen such a beautiful thing as this? Light. Light enough to watch my eggs sizzle, my soup berl and my tenderloin crackle! and crisp!. What a wonderful chore I performed!

John 1:1-5

The Word was first,
the Word present to God,
God present to the Word.
The Word was God,
in readiness for God from day one.

3-5 Everything was created through him;
nothing—not one thing!—
came into being without him.
What came into existence was Life,
and the Life was Light to live by.
The Life-Light blazed out of the darkness;
the darkness couldn’t put it out.
