Technoworld welcomes The Purging Lutheran to The 21st Century! I rec’d this Smartwatch just yesterday and already it appears I have moved 7.48.

7.48 something.

It certainly isn’t miles. I’ve certainly moved more than 7.48 feet and yards. So, 7.48 what? Maybe it’s not even measuring me. Is it measuring itself? I don’t know. Why do I buy things smarter than me? My truck is always bugging me to change the oil, inflate the tires, buy gas, and locks its doors when I’m not smert enough to push the button.

I’m surprised sometimes my truck lets me drive it.

I promise myself I will master this

clock

heart rate monitor

timer

stopwatch

gps

calendar

weather forecaster

software updates

Facebook notifications (why?)

e-mail

and whatever else I stumble ‘pon. We’ll glitter done.

Ephesians 5:11-16

Don’t waste your time on useless work, mere busywork, the barren pursuits of darkness. Expose these things for the sham they are. It’s a scandal when people waste their lives on things they must do in the darkness where no one will see. Rip the cover off those frauds and see how attractive they look in the light of Christ.

Wake up from your sleep,
Climb out of your coffins;
Christ will show you the light!

So watch your step. Use your head. Make the most of every chance you get. These are desperate times!
