A perfect example of human failure is right here in this picture. The Purging Lutheran bought this Clear Household Silicone, put it on a gararge shelf, and years later is getting rid of it. And why?
I’m not sure.
It’s probably because of the bottom illustration on the packaging. No, it’s not because I don’t have purple fingernails* but rather I was intimidated by that hand’s ability to draw a perfect bead between the tub and tile. Let me just say that my effort looks more like a clear wiggly worm. Speaking of tub and tile adhesive, when my chucklins was young I used to tell a bedtime story which included references to a tub and tile adhesive. Not this particular brand but what brand was popular ~25 years ago. Details? I have none. Feel free to ask My Sweet Rib, The Lad, and MyMarta for the messy details. While you’re at it you might ask them about ace cub reporter, Timmy Johnson, the Clintons and a flat tire. White House lamps, too!
Oh, my stars and bars!
It is absolutely clear that God has called you to a free life. Just make sure that you don’t use this freedom as an excuse to do whatever you want to do and destroy your freedom. Rather, use your freedom to serve one another in love; that’s how freedom grows. For everything we know about God’s Word is summed up in a single sentence: Love others as you love yourself. That’s an act of true freedom. If you bite and ravage each other, watch out—in no time at all you will be annihilating each other, and where will your precious freedom be then?
