It’s a pair of “squiggly scissors” (even though there’s just one) our chucklins used for making fanciful projects. The blades are shaped in a way that when you cut your construction paper the edge looks like the design you see there. Be warned, however, if you use these while drunk or during an earthquake you’ll end up with a straight line. Who said art was easy? Well, Jackson Pollack, a major player in the American abstract expressionist movement, has been accused of “just spilling paint”. Critics. Baah! Who needs ’em?
I like the logo at the top of these scissors. The company name is ‘BYCIN’, you know, like the animal, bison. And they have a picture of a buffalo just above it. I don’t understand it but it’s still neat.
Observe people who are good at their work—
skilled workers are always in demand and admired; they don’t take a backseat to anyone.
