Brush. How many words, real words, can you spell from these five letters? My Sweet Rib and her The Purging Lutheran play a game on the innerwebble named Jumbline. It gives you a jumble of 5,6, or 7 letters and you are left to spell as many 3,4,5,6, and 7 words you can from it. Back to ‘brush’. The answer is 20. These are those words:
1. brush 2. buhrs 3. shrub 4. brus 5. rubs 6. hubs 7. rhus 8. buhr 9. urbs 10. bush 11. burs 12. rush 13. rub 14. bur 15. bus 16. sur 17. hub 18. bru 19. urb 20. sub
Back to the brush. What we have here is a scrubber a housewife or househusband would use to clean a family’s favorite drinking glasses. This househusband, known as The P L, used this for a while but it did not work up to my exacting standards. To start with it came with a yellow foam wig. Besides being awkward looking I couldn’t give the bottom of the glass (where grit hangs out with its bud, grime) a decent scrubbing. Then it has a funky, flinky wire connecting the two ends. The wire would bend too much … You know what? This was just a cheap piece of garbage. No more electronic ink wasted on it!
