A week or two ago The Purging Lutheran purged a vase (vās). Today I purge a vase (voz). The last one was a smaller one used for delicate flowers and could, under certain circumstances, be used to drink fruity tropical drinks from. Today’s is a much more hardy, muscular vessel which holds big, bulky flowers such as roses, sunflowers, potatoes, and, for the artsy crowd, decorative marbles. The only times this would be used to drink from would be at the end of an alcohol-fueled ethnic wedding or funeral. But only for beer. That’s it.
I’m sure My Sweet Rib and I picked this up from a big box store on a Friday evening after dinner with The Lad and Our Marta, probably at, you know, uh, I can’t remember where we used to go. Our Marta was a strong willed embryo so it was probably her decision. If you see her, ask her. This has been sent away to that place down the street.
Psalm 139:14 I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.
