These aren’t much to look at and not easy to photograph. They aren’t any more than one long slice of plastic, heated, bent, cut, cooled, collected, boxed, and shipped to big box stores throughout this great economy of ours. What we have here are picture frames/holders. Or they can hold notes, names, and notifications of times and places of upcoming events, particularly at conferences, conventions and tent pole meetings. If it weren’t for these valuable pieces of plastic, which by the way are made out of magic, then papers with important updates would fly off a table with even a small gust of wind and people might miss important meetings

(So much love to make up everywhere you turn)

or speeches or a loved one for lunch or not be properly prepared for interviews or hand-to-hand combat. You say, Place a rock on top of a piece of paper to keep it still? Are you kidding? What a laughable concept! No, but really, these frames are one of the many highlights of modern society along with

fast cars,

comfy mattresses,

a hard working spouse,

a parent who adores you,

(Love we have wasted on the way)

ink pens that don’t easily leak,

a Bible teaching macitajs (teacher/pastor),

a phone to call a past acquaintance with,

(So much water moving underneath the bridge)

a hot dog with extra mustard,

a Constitution that helps keep society from going nuts,

a bird feeder out of the reach of wolves,

and a bench to sit on and drink coffee with a friend.

Ruth and Naomi
Ruth 1:16-17   But Ruth said, “Do not urge me to leave you or to return from following you. For where you go I will go, and where you lodge I will lodge. Your people shall be my people, and your God my God. Where you die I will die, and there will I be buried. May the LORD do so to me and more also if anything but death parts me from you.”

David and Jonathan
1 Samuel 18:1-3    As soon as he had finished speaking to Saul, the soul of Jonathan was knit to the soul of David, and Jonathan loved him as his own soul. And Saul took him that day and would not let him return to his father’s house. Then Jonathan made a covenant with David, because he loved him as his own soul.
